HP ProBook 4530s Drivers for Windows3 min read
The HP ProBook 4530s is a versatile, durable, stylish laptop equipped with strong processor capabilities and wireless functionality. It also features a 15.6-inch diagonal HD display that makes an impression wherever you go.
The ProBook 4530s’ 15.6-inch LED-backlit screen (1366 x 768 pixels) has a matte surface that helps prevent reflections.
Its 200 nits rating is above average for this category of laptop, and it scores better than the Toshiba Tecra R850’s 300 nits.
Intel® CoreTM i3 Processor:
Intel makes a variety of Core i3, i5, and i7 processors for desktops and laptops. Some are more powerful than others, and some support certain technologies such as Turbo Boost.
Fortunately, you can easily find the right one for your needs by comparing the specifications and prices of these CPUs. We’ve grouped all of them together in our comparison table, and you can find the one that’s right for you by clicking on it.
The i3-10100 is Intel’s most inexpensive i3 processor, and it comes at a good price for its performance. This CPU is aimed at the entry-level market, and it does a great job in the single-core and multi-core tests of Cinebench R23.
Intel® GMA HD 3000 Graphics Card:
The Intel GMA HD 3000 graphics card rests on the same die as the CPU and is a significant improvement over the previous generation of integrated graphics.
This means it delivers better-quality pictures than earlier versions of integrated graphics and supports HDMI output for transferring photos or videos to external HD monitors.
The graphics performance is more than sufficient for most office and multimedia applications. It can also handle low-end games under controlled settings.
For testing, I ran a quick FRAPS run-through of the first level of BioShock 2. All image quality settings were set too low and the resolution was 1024×768.
Intel® CoreTM i5 Processor:
The Intel® CoreTM i5 Processor is a powerful, yet affordable option for business users. This 2.4GHz processor has 12 cores and 16 threads, providing plenty of power for multitasking.
This Core i5 processor also includes AVX instructions, which will allow programs to use GPU acceleration when they need it. This helps to improve performance for calculation-heavy applications.
In our tests, the i5 processor performed well. It took 58 seconds to fire up Windows 7 Professional and converted a 114MB MP4 file into AVI in 48 seconds using Oxelon Media Encoder.
The Core i5 processors in the HP ProBook 4530s series are great for gaming, browsing the web, and running simple productivity apps. But if you want to run professional applications like Premiere or Photoshop, it’s best to choose an i7.
Intel® CoreTM i7 Processor of HP ProBook 4530s Drivers:
The Intel® CoreTM i7 Processor is the fastest of the Core family, designed for high-end desktops and laptops.
These processors have more CPU cores and higher clock speeds than the Core i5s, making them ideal for demanding applications such as video encoding, 3D modeling, high-end graphics work, or gaming.
The i7 Processor also has a larger cache memory than the i5s to help it perform tasks more quickly. This helps the i7 Processor deal with repeated calculations or data, such as when editing spreadsheets.
Windows® 8.1 for HP ProBook 4530s Drivers:
Windows® 8.1 is a free update for Windows 8 and Windows RT users. It brings many features that were missing in Windows 8.
Among the notable improvements, Windows 8.1 has improved boot performance through the use of a hybrid kernel; this enables a more responsive boot process on systems with multiple cores during bootup.
The update also introduces a new Windows Recovery Environment that allows for advanced diagnostic and repair functions.
It also ships with an updated version of Windows Defender, which now includes malware protection. In addition, the upgrade introduces Refresh and Reset options, which allow a user to restore their system’s functionality without using installation media.
