The Motorola Moto G6 Play is an Android smartphone with a 5.7-inch IPS LCD Capacitive touchscreen. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo and is also upgradable to Android 9.0 Pie.

If you want to connect your Motorola Moto G6 Play to a PC, then you must download the required officially released USB drivers for your device. These drivers will help you perform various advanced things on your device, including:

Display:

The Moto G6 Play is a great value smartphone with a 5.7-inch 18:9 ratio display. Its 720-pixel resolution isn’t as high as the 1,080-pixel displays found on the Moto G6 and G6 Plus, but it does look good in use.

Motorola’s budget-friendly phones have always offered tons of value, and this one is no exception. It runs a near-stock version of Android 8.0 Oreo, which means it has almost no bloatware.

It also features a bunch of software features that help make it a more convenient phone to use, including Moto Display.

This feature lets you wave your hand over the display to see the time, date, battery percentage, and notifications without unlocking the phone.

Camera:

The Moto G6 Play has a single 13MP camera on the back with an f/2.0 lens. It also has phase-detect autofocus and is capable of shooting 1080p video at 30fps.

The front of the phone has an 8MP camera with an f/2.2 lens. The lens is not as good as the one on the more expensive Moto Gs, and the pictures are not very detailed.

However, the camera app is easy to use and has a few neat extra modes. There’s a manual mode to tweak things and there’s also a mode that optimizes a 1/1.5-second exposure for handheld shooting.

Motorola has done a decent job of keeping its software largely clean, as they have since 2013. It has some apps that you may not want, but most of them are useful and unobtrusive.

Battery:

The Moto G6 Play is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a phone with long battery life. The 4,000mAh battery provides more than enough juice for most people and will last up to two full days.

The device also has a lot of extra features like an SD card slot and a fingerprint reader. It also supports Quick Charge 3.0, which helps to recharge the phone quickly.

Its battery lasts longer than most phones in its price range. It beats out the Honor 7X and Nokia 6.1 with its battery.

The Moto G6 Play has a 3.5mm headphone jack on the right edge, but it lacks USB Type-C connectivity. Its MicroUSB port is a bit of a bummer, but it’s also what keeps the cost down.

Performance:

Moto G6 Play is a budget smartphone that comes to the market with a lot of promise. It’s got a decent-sized screen, a good camera, and a battery that can last up to two days.

In terms of performance, the Moto G6 Play comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor and 3GB of RAM.

This is a mid-range chip designed for basic smartphone usage and will handle day-to-day tasks such as browsing the web, loading apps, and watching YouTube videos smoothly.

Motorola has kept the device free of bloatware and the performance is very impressive. Stock Android is installed and there are just a few Motorola apps like the one that toggles gesture controls.
